There are two aspects to life. First is love. Second is unconditional love.

This is all that matters. This is what will save you from a literal hell on earth.

Without love and unconditional love, you will create your own hell. It will always be.

Love is the joy you find in everyday things: the birds singing, the sky, the gentle breeze.

Unconditional love is the love you search for in the face of difficulty and adversity. It is harder to find and to hold.

Unconditional love is the harder of the two, generally. But it can also be hard to see the love in everyday things we take for granted. It is easy not to notice.

Take the time to notice the love all around you in the simple things, and finding unconditional love in difficult times will be easier. Always search out love. This is all. The end.

This one feels almost instructional, but in a very grounded, everyday way.

What stands out to me is the distinction between noticing love in simple moments and choosing unconditional love in more difficult ones. One feels accessible. The other feels like a practice.

There’s something about the connection between the two that feels worth sitting with—that perhaps learning to notice small, ordinary moments of love makes it easier to access something deeper when it’s needed most.
