An Imperfect Practice of Spiritual Listening
This message came through in automatic writing as a more personal response to guidance I had asked for.
What came through
February 20, 2026
Don’t be shy. Put yourself out there. Make friends. Get out. Connect. Find love. Stop playing small. Be brave. Be bold. Grow your relationships. Listen. Listen more. Hug my child. Hug my husband. Don’t hide. The end.
This one felt more direct—and more personal—than some of the others.
It came after I specifically asked for guidance for myself, and it reflects that. There’s something both encouraging and slightly uncomfortable about it. It points toward connection, visibility, and relationships in a way that feels clear, but not always easy.
As always, I’m sharing this without presenting it as something to follow without question. Just something I’m sitting with—and perhaps gently practicing, in small ways.
Closing Invitation
You’re welcome to carry this with you for a while, or to set it down completely. If journaling is part of your spiritual practice, you might let a few unstructured reflections find their way onto the page—without trying to interpret, resolve, or explain. Sometimes the practice is simply noticing what remains.
